Vineyard Visits
Visit Albury Vineyard for its welcoming and friendly experience every Saturday and Sunday - whether you know a lot about wine, or nothing at all. Enjoy a glass of bubbly in their tasting room or on the patio, where they also serve delicious cheese and charcuterie boards. Children, muddy boots and well behaved dogs on leads welcome.

A Wildlife Adventure
Explore the natural side of Albury Vineyard on a family-friendly Wildlife Adventure through the vines. This self-guided trail highlights the vineyard’s conservation projects, from wildflower meadows and bee hives to owl boxes and wildlife habitats, with opportunities to spot local species and learn more about biodiversity along the way. Free to attend, with donations supporting local conservation.

Wine & Cheese Tasting
Enjoy a talk and tasting of Albury Estate sparkling wines with a member of the Albury team, followed by a glass of your choice accompanied by a selection of English cheese. Admire views from their tasting room over the vineyard or take a stroll amongst the vines before or after your tasting.

Vineyard Café
An enchanting corner of the Surrey Hills, Tanhurst Estate is only minutes away from the National Trust’s beautiful Rhododendron Wood and Leith Hill Place – the childhood home of composer Ralph Vaughan Williams. Tanhurst Estate opens its Vineyard Café to the public on Saturdays and Sundays, 10am to 4pm. Their dog-friendly café serves up delicious coffees, cakes, sausage rolls and other goodies - as well as their fantastic wines, of course.

Fall in love with one of Tanhurst Estate’s three beautiful holiday barns, each offering a unique holiday experience. For a taste of luxury, stay in one of their converted timber framed barns, Great Foxmoor, Middle Foxmoor Barn or Little Foxmoor, with breath-taking views across the Surrey/Sussex Weald to the South Downs National Park.

Tours & Tastings
Tanhurst recently launched their brand-new vineyard tour and tasting experiences. The tours begin with an introduction to the winemaking process of our English wine, followed by a guided stroll with picturesque Surrey Hills and a guided tasting of the full range of their wines in the tasting barn.

Opening times: Denbies Wine Estate is open all year. The visitor centre opens from 9am to 5.30pm, while the Wine Library Brasserie & Bar at Denbies Vineyard Hotel is open into the evening.

Surrey Hills Sheep Parade
A colourful new flock is coming to Denbies this August, although these particular sheep will not require feeding, shearing or much encouragement to pose for a photograph! Taking place on Wednesday August 26, 11am to 3pm, the free event will see the full collection of life-sized sheep sculptures unveiled together for the very first time. Each member of the flock has been transformed by a Surrey artist into a unique work of art, inspired by the character of the Surrey Hills.

Sparkling Afternoon Tea
Enjoy a leisurely sparkling afternoon tea in the peace and tranquillity of the Wine Library Brasserie & Bar. A glass of Denbies award-winning sparkling wine to accompany a delicious afternoon tea, selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones, jam and cream. Beautiful all year round, overlooking avenues of vines. In the warmer months, Greyfriars Vineyard’s tours head outdoors to make the most of summer. The vineyard tour with wine tasting takes visitors on a guided walk through the beautiful vineyards finishing with a tutored tasting of several award-winning wines.

Greyfriars is hosting a wide range of local Food Trucks at the vineyard this summer. The next three are on Saturday August 8, Saturday August 22 and Saturday August 29. Greyfriars also has its Horsebox Bar open every Saturday.

Experience High Clandon’s magic on their Open Days, which take place once a month (usually) throughout the warmer months of the year. On Open Days, no charge is made - so simply drop in to visit. And they welcome well-behaved dogs, too. If you wish to delight in their fabled Tour, Talk, Tasting, then please pre-book on the dates that can be found on their website.

Truffle Hunt with Cuvée Experience Days
High Clandon’s Truffle Hunt with Cuvée Experience Days offer an in-depth experience like no other. Run by the English Truffles Company, small groups hunt for rare truffles in the High Clandon truffle orchard before enjoying lunch and High Clandon cuvée. Autumn dates at High Clandon are September 26, October 31, November 28.
