Vineyard Visits

Visit Albury Vineyard for its welcoming and friendly experience every Saturday and Sunday - whether you know a lot about wine, or nothing at all. Enjoy a glass of bubbly in their tasting room or on the patio, where they also serve delicious cheese and charcuterie boards. Children, muddy boots and well behaved dogs on leads welcome.

Summer Spectacular weekend

As part of Vineyards of the Surrey Hills’ Summer Spectacular wine festival weekend, the Albury Wine Festival will take place on Sunday June 29, 11am to 5pm, featuring tours of the vineyard, access to their wildlife walk, wine tasting, masterclasses with a renowned English wine expert, local artisan food and more, as well as the chance to sample wines from all of the Surrey Hills vineyards.

Wine & Cheese Tasting

Enjoy a talk and tasting of Albury Estate sparkling wines with a member of the Albury team, followed by a glass of your choice accompanied by a selection of English cheese. Admire views from their tasting room over the vineyard or take a stroll amongst the vines before or after your tasting.

Tours and Tastings

Open almost every day of the year, Denbies Wine Estate is the perfect place to explore the magic of English wine - even through the winter months. Take a walk among the dormant vines, book a table in one of their restaurants or join an indoor wine tasting experience where you will learn more about their history and the onsite wine-making process in their winery.

Summer Spectacular weekend

To celebrate the Summer Spectacular, Denbies will host the Surrey Hills Wine Country Tasting Menu on Saturday June 28, 6pm to 10pm, and their Summer Spectacular Cellar Door Tasting on Sunday June 29, 11.30am to 5pm.

Sparkling Afternoon Tea

Enjoy a leisurely sparkling afternoon tea in the peace and tranquillity of the Vineyard Restaurant at Denbies Wine Estate. Denbies award-winning sparkling wine is accompanied by a delicious afternoon tea, selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones, jam and cream. Tours & Tastings

Enjoy Chilworth’s English sparkling and rosé wines at The Watch House. On their vineyard tours, you can see and learn about our vines, their growth cycle and the winemaking process, as well as hearing about the fascinating history of Chilworth Manor. It's the perfect spot to try their wines together with some specially prepared pairing bites.

Summer Spectacular weekend

On Saturday June 28, Chilworth Manor Vineyard will host Chilworth Wine Festival. Relax and enjoy an afternoon and early evening of music, premium quality English sparkling and still rosé wine and delicious street food.  The vineyard will be open to be explored from 3pm to 8pm.

Afternoon tea and sparkling

As well as a short introduction to Chilworth Manor Vineyard’s wines, the vineyard and the history of the Manor, you'll have the chance to taste their Chilworth Manor Brut Rosé and Classic Cuvée and enjoy a full afternoon tea, including sandwiches, scones and cakes, in the stunning setting of The Watch House, their new tasting barn.

Open Day Season

High Clandon’s next open day is Bank Holiday Monday May 26. Open Days are there for you to drop in, delight in the views and gardens and taste High Clandon wines. Also, you can pre-book their fabled Tour, Talk, Tasting, which runs at 11.30am or 2.30pm on Open Days. The next dates are: Saturday June 21 (English Wine Week) ; Bank Holiday Monday August 25; Saturday September 20 (Harvest); Saturday October 4 (Harvest); Saturday October 25. Private tours for groups of at least four people are available throughout the year.

Summer Spectacular weekend

High Clandon’s Art & Sculpture in the Vineyard is always a highlight of the summer calendar in Surrey. Enjoy a wonderful collection of  more than 100 works of art and sculpture on show around the gardens, wildflower meadows and Glass Barn at High Clandon.  This event celebrates the introduction of their latest vintage cuvée (yet to be named).

Glass Barn Hire

The atmospheric Glass Barn at High Clandon has beautiful views of the garden, wildflower meadow, the Surrey Hills and even the London skyline on a good day. But did you know it’s also available for private hire? It’s the perfect venue for smaller gatherings, such as an intimate wedding, birthday celebration or company gathering. The Glass Barn has room for 70 people cocktail-style or 30-40 seated.

Vineyard tours

In the warmer months, Greyfriars Vineyard’s tours head back outdoors to make the most of spring. The vineyard tour with wine tasting takes visitors on a guided walk through the beautiful vineyards finishing with a tutored tasting of several award-winning sparkling and still wines. The tastings normally take place on the vineyard viewing deck.

Greyfriars Vineyard invites you to join in the festivities as they celebrate a significant milestone - their 15th Anniversary Celebration - on Saturday June 28, 12 noon to 7pm.

Enjoy an evening of painting and wine tasting at Greyfriars Vineyard, in the picturesque Surrey Hills, on Thursday June 5. Book your place to unleash creativity, relax with an evening of socialising, painting and sipping wine and create a masterpiece to take home.
