Vineyard Visits

Visit Albury Vineyard for its welcoming and friendly experience every Saturday and Sunday - whether you know a lot about wine, or nothing at all. Enjoy a glass of bubbly in their tasting room or on the patio, where they also serve delicious cheese and charcuterie boards. Children, muddy boots and well behaved dogs on leads welcome.

Silent Pool Rosé Release Day

Join Albury Vineyard as they celebrate the release of Silent Pool Rosé 2024 on bank holiday Monday May 4. Their exclusive launch event features a pop-up wine bar, guided rosé tastings*, and self-guided vineyard tours—the perfect way to spend the bank holiday weekend.

Albury’s flagship wine was originally served on the Royal Barge to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, and usually sells out within months of its release in May each year. Be among the first to try the new 2024 vintage.

Wine & Cheese Tasting

Enjoy a talk and tasting of Albury Estate sparkling wines with a member of the Albury team, followed by a glass of your choice accompanied by a selection of English cheese. Admire views from their tasting room over the vineyard or take a stroll amongst the vines before or after your tasting.

Tours and Tastings

Open almost every day of the year, Denbies Wine Estate is the perfect place to explore the magic of English wine - even through the winter months. Take a walk among the dormant vines, book a table in one of their restaurants or join an indoor wine tasting experience where you will learn more about their history and the onsite wine-making process in their winery.

Cocktails with a vineyard view

They've been shaking things up at Denbies Wine Estate, and you can now book into the Wine Library Brasserie & Bar for cocktails and Denbies' finest wines every day of the week. With stunning views out to the vineyard and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main visitor centre, this is the perfect spot for a chilled out catch-up with friends.

Sparkling Afternoon Tea

Enjoy a leisurely sparkling afternoon tea in the peace and tranquillity of the Vineyard Restaurant at Denbies Wine Estate. Denbies award-winning sparkling wine is accompanied by a delicious afternoon tea, selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones, jam and cream. Tours & Tastings

Enjoy Chilworth’s English sparkling and rosé wines at The Watch House. On their vineyard tours, you can see and learn about our vines, their growth cycle and the winemaking process, as well as hearing about the fascinating history of Chilworth Manor. It's the perfect spot to try their wines together with some specially prepared pairing bites.

National Garden Scheme Opening

Explore one of Surrey’s most spectacular gardens with its 18th century terraced walled garden, topiary, herbaceous borders and ancient ponds - all while enjoying Chilworth Manor Brut Rosé, still rosé and Classic Cuvée, served by the glass or bottle at the pop-up bar.

Afternoon tea and sparkling

As well as a short introduction to Chilworth Manor Vineyard’s wines, the vineyard and the history of the Manor, you'll have the chance to taste their Chilworth Manor Brut Rosé and Classic Cuvée and enjoy a full afternoon tea, including sandwiches, scones and cakes, in the stunning setting of The Watch House, their new tasting barn.

Open Day Season

High Clandon’s next open day is Bank Holiday Monday May 5. Open Days are there for you to drop in, delight in the views and gardens and taste High Clandon wines. Also, you can pre-book their fabled Tour, Talk, Tasting, which runs at 11.30am or 2.30pm on Open Days. The next dates are: Bank Holiday Monday May 26; Saturday June 21 (English Wine Week) ; Bank Holiday Monday August 25; Saturday September 20 (Harvest); Saturday October 4 (Harvest); Saturday October 25. Private tours for groups of at least four people are available throughout the year.

Art & Sculpture in the Vineyard

High Clandon’s Art & Sculpture in the Vineyard is always a highlight of the summer calendar in Surrey. Enjoy a wonderful collection of  more than 100 works of art and sculpture on show around the gardens, wildflower meadows and Glass Barn at High Clandon.  This event celebrates the introduction of their latest vintage cuvée (yet to be named).

Glass Barn Hire

The atmospheric Glass Barn at High Clandon has beautiful views of the garden, wildflower meadow, the Surrey Hills and even the London skyline on a good day. But did you know it’s also available for private hire? It’s the perfect venue for smaller gatherings, such as an intimate wedding, birthday celebration or company gathering. The Glass Barn has room for 70 people cocktail-style or 30-40 seated.

Vineyard tours

In the warmer months, Greyfriars Vineyard’s tours head back outdoors to make the most of spring. The vineyard tour with wine tasting takes visitors on a guided walk through the beautiful vineyards finishing with a tutored tasting of several award-winning sparkling and still wines. The tastings normally take place on the vineyard viewing deck.

2025

Wine Club

Greyfriars’ 12-month Wine Club membership can be joined at any time of the year. It offers members biannual wine shipments alongside invitations to at least two exclusive member's events for the member and a guest, plus priority access to new and limited wine releases and their ever popular Harvest Picking Days.

Sip and Paint

Enjoy an evening of painting and wine tasting at Greyfriars Vineyard, in the picturesque Surrey Hills, on Thursday June 5. Book your place to unleash creativity, relax with an evening of socialising, painting and sipping wine and create a masterpiece to take home.
